About the Artist

ANGE O’REILLY is an abstract artist based in Vancouver, BC. Her rare neurological condition, synesthesia, merges the senses, allowing her to see colors and shapes when she hears music. Much of her work translates what she hears into visual form so others can see the beauty of sound.

Ange is excited and grateful for this ability. She is presently working on her synesthetic collection, aptly named ‘Chromesthetic Choreo’. The name is a nod of gratitude to her synesthesia. It is also an homage to her past career as a dance choreographer. This collection is built of Ange’s most loved songs. Some of these she choreographed dances to. Others were used by her friends to choreograph beautiful, memorable dances. There are also songs she simply resonates with and loves. Angela hopes to share her creative abilities and gifts with everyone. She wants to bring music to life visually, in color, shape, and texture.

Ange enjoys painting in watercolor. Her subjects range from crystals, flowers, and plants to sunset skies and the ocean. She is now working on creating a Crystal Tarot deck. She has spent a year planning it out. She also has an interest in sacred geometry. Painting sacred geometry patterns on crystal grids is next on her ‘creative to-do list’.

Ange O’Reilly is thankful to live near Granville Island. She resides in beautiful Vancouver with her loving, supportive husband. They have two busy young children. She enjoys being in nature. She is an avid crystal collector.
Ange has recently been attuned and is a certified Reiki level II Healer. She is also a QHHT Level 1 intern.
Ange offers sessions of past-life regression hypnosis to clients. She aims to become certified in that as well.
